Description

Domaine Pierre Ravaut is a family estate of 7.5 hectares in Ladoix-Serrigny in the Cote-d’Or, between Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges, at the foot of the hill of Corton.
Pierre and Anne-Sophie, both natives of Burgundy born into winemaking, work on and manage the Domaine, controlloing every step involved in looking after the vines and making the wine, respecting tradition and demanding quality.
Ladoix is the northernmost appellation of the Côte de Beaune and, together with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, shares the honour of producing the famous wines of the hill of Corton (Corton and Corton-Charlemagne). The AOC was granted in 1937.
The vineyard, nestled in the Clos Royer parcel, offers a wide range of red and white wines, mostly from the hill of Corton.

Aromas of pear, dried fruits and fresh almonds. Bold and powerful on the palate. A wine to be drunk between 5 and 20 years old.
