Description
Sweet Passito from Veneto, 13.5% ABV, produced by Bosco del Merlo. 100% Verduzzo Friulano. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A wine born of passion and sustainability, a tribute to the region and its history. The name “Bosco del Merlo” recalls the oak forests that once covered the area. Soandre is a wine conceived entirely in the vineyard. Some of the grapes are harvested early in the ripening process and are destined for drying, while the rest remain on the vine for a long time to undergo a process of over-ripening. Both musts ferment in 225-liter barrels, where they age for 10 months. The aroma is enveloping, seductive with notes of citrus and ripe tropical fruit. It has an intense golden color. The flavor is extremely refined, with an extremely balanced sweetness that retains a pleasant freshness.
