Description
Grown at elevations up to 5,000 feet along the Andes Mountains, Alamos wines are the result of intense sunlight, cool evenings and mineral-rich snowmelt irrigation. With every glass poured, we’re sharing a glimpse of that adventurous Argentinian spirit.
Critical Acclaim
87 points Robert Parker
The medium to dark ruby-colored 2000 Alamos Bonarda explodes from the glass with black raspberries, spices, and hints of cedar. This rich, creamy, satin-textured wine is medium to full-bodied and juicy. Delicious layers of flavorful red and black fruits can be found throughout its harmonious character. Were it not for a firm finish, this excellent value would have received an even higher rating.
