on the nose the wine has floral notes, at times still vinous and with hints of fresh fruit such as plum, cherry and raspberry, herbaceous and slightly spicy, all well harmonized with the wood, given by the aging in wood. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious, with good persistence, enveloping and pleasant in its freshness. A complete wine suitable for dishes of good character that enhance its essential robustness. The best expression of this “glass” is appreciated if consumed at least after the second year of age.
Pairings: due to its character, this wine is a great match with vegetable soups, pasta and beans, risotto with osso buco and cotechino
