Vineyard InformationTrinity Oaks 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a blend of 45% coastal grapes from the Monterey county growing region, and 55% from the Lodi-Delta region San Joaquin County, Californias largest premium winegrowing area.WinemakingAfter a 10-day fermentation in stainless tanks, the wine was aged on American and French oak to round out and soften its rich, black cherry and currant flavors.Tasting NotesThis Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits delicious aromas of black cherry and currant with notes of green olive, cedar, dried herbs, and vanilla. Rich and medium in body, with smooth, supple tannins, the flavors suggest cherry, cassis, and nutmeg spice.
