Pierangelo Piccini’s ingenious approach to viticulture led him to identify the potential of the Maremma, characteristics that subsequently established it as one of Italy’s finest wine-producing areas. When Mario Piccini realised the far-sightedness of his father’s thoughts, he decided to dedicate a selection of the estate’s finest vineyards to him, creating a powerful and elegant wine. The best sections of Tenuta Moraia’s vineyards have been completely in Perpiero’s production since 2014.
