Still red Alto Adige DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Kaltern Caldaro. 100% Merlot, 2022 vintage. A Merlot Riserva that tells the story of a winery founded in 1900, a symbol of professionalism, passion, and quality. The grapes come from south-facing hillside vineyards, with a warm microclimate. Red fermentation with two weeks of maceration at 28°C, followed by malolactic fermentation and 12 months of maturation in barrique. Aromas of small red fruits, star anise, and eucalyptus. Intense ruby red color. Round, well-integrated tannins, pleasant to drink, explosive fruit finish.
