In 1870, George Garvin Brown created Old Forester on Louisville’s famous Whiskey Row at 322 W. Main St. Old Forester was “America’s First Bottled Bourbon” – the first bourbon to be sold in sealed glass bottles instead of from barrels, to ensure consistent quality.
Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style Whisky is the third member of the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series, which invites bourbon lovers to taste their way through Old Forester history. This bourbon whisky has notes of dark caramel, layers of malt nuttiness, sweet graham cracker, and a long smoky finish. Try it in cocktails, enjoy it on the rocks or sip it neat.
