Description
The nose is rich and expressive, with red fruit and flower aromas. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, nervy and fresh, with silky tannins, red berry character and a persistent, flavorful finish. It’s 40% mencia, with the remainder bastardo, mouraton, garnacha tintorera, gran negro and other red varieties. This fermented in a combination of foudre, barriques and cement. Once finished fermentation it ages for two years in tanks.
