Description
Everything you’d ever want in a cool climate expression of Pinot Noir from the Sonoma County side of Carneros, with lots of tension and mouthwatering acidity. The aromatic intensity ushers in a bright frame of fruit, calling to mind cherries, cranberries, and raspberries. violet florals and earthy forest floor notes add intrigue. On the palate, those aromatics present tart, tense red berry fruits, and the wine is terrifically racy, with supple tannins that are present but not overpowering, rather bringing beautiful balance to the acid tension. Subtle oak notes in the wine add a frame to the fruit with terrific integration.
