Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is Sancerre’s lesser-known, affordable sibling that went to public school and took AP classes instead of going to an expensive private school: Get to know it. Lemon in color, this wine has a chalk-dusted nose of green pear, starfruit, quince and white blossom. The palate echoes in proportion to the nose with stoniness on the finish imparting a refreshing lift that begs for another sip.
