Description
The vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône “Reserve” come from different types of soils but mainly from alluvial clay-limestone terraces, sand and clay. This gives the “Reserve” an extraordinary richness and complexity and a very southern style.
Grape varieties
Grenache noir and Syrah for the most part. Complement of cinsault, mourvèdre.
Vinification and ageing
Traditional vinification and ageing in vats only. Bottling 10 to 12 months after harvest.
Tasting
The colour is garnet red with purplish reflections, the nose is based on a range of aromas varying from fresh fruits, red berries, wild raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries…
Consumption advice
This great classic is to be enjoyed between 1 and 4 years old. Serve at a temperature of about 17°C.
