The wine is a blend of Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and Sonoma County Pinot Noir from premier vineyards. Deliciously drinkable, it features the classic Russian River Valley characteristics of perfumed aromas and bright focused cherry flavors, framed by delicate tannins.2014 was an excellent vintage for Sonoma winemaking. The growing season started off earlier than usual with early budbreak followed by a moderately warm spring and summer, aided by no extended heat spikes. This slow and steady ripening lead to an early harvest and resulted in wines with beautiful, ripe aromas and flavors, balanced acidity and intense color.A burst of fresh black cherry, ripe strawberry and cola spice on the nose lead to deep flavors of red fruits with hints of earth, warm spice and violets.
