Description
An ancient variety that was once common throughout Montefalco, Spoleto, and Trevi, Trebbiano Spoletino has had an awakening within the regions. Only the best bunches are selected for this bottling from various ancient vineyards located on rolling hills of Spoleto, planted at 350ml above sea level, to a western exposure. The grapes are hand-harvested before undergoing spontaneous fermentation in clay and ceramic amphoras with extended maceration on skins. The wine then ages in old oak casks before release.
