An easy entry into an intimidating world of skin-contact wine, Azimut Brisat Orange is a clean, easy-going quaff that 17th-generation winemaker Assis Suriol describes as “all texture, spices, fruit, laughter hanging out.” Natural fermentation with native yeasts, 5 days on skins and then 3 months in underground concrete tanks. No filtration, fining or additives, minimal sulfur at bottling (max 30 parts per million). From Can Suriol, the family winery in Penedès, Spain since the 1600s.
