Description
Legend has it that in 1919 Florence, Italy, Count Camillo Negroni asked bartender Fosco Scarselli to replace the soda water in his Americano with gin. An orange garnish was added, creating the first known Negroni and the rest is history. The Negroni stands as one of Italy’s proudest contributions to cocktail culture simple yet sophisticated, wonderfully bitter yet surprisingly sweet at its center. Negronis are so bold and enticing with their bewitching colors similar to those of a Cosmopolitan. Decorative enough to catch your eye but provocative enough to capture your palate’s attention one sip will have you hooked on this seductive delight forever.
