Description
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, 14.5% ABV, produced by Binomio, 2021 vintage. 100% Montepulciano. A powerful and structured red, with careful vinification that enhances its characteristics. Manual harvest in the second half of October. Maceration and fermentation in vertical vats, aged in new and second-use barriques for 15 months. Very intense on the nose, with hints of wild strawberries, blackberries, wild red fruits, and spices. Powerful on the palate, with ripe and balanced tannins, fresh and persistent. Awarded 93/100 by James Suckling and Vinous.
