Description
Winemaker Notes
Violet, berries and light peppery spice. Clear aromas of Mediterranean maquis such as myrtle and rosemary, boisée nuance well integrated with roasting notes. Enveloping, fresh and medium-bodied, with well-smoothed tannins. The pleasant drinkability is combined with excellent persistence.
Professional Ratings
- 92Jeb DunnuckFrom an estate located in Bibona, the 2023 Insoglio Del Cinghiale is a youthful magenta/red color. On the nose, it’s fruity and floral, with aromas of currants, mixed berries, fresh flowers, and fresh earth. Full-bodied, it offers plush tannins, balanced richness without feeling heavy, and even acidity. It’s a cut above for the entry to the range and should drink well over the coming 8-10 years.
