WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
The 2021 Block Nine Cabernet Sauvignon exhibit aromas that gush of warm plum and
blackberry fruit flavors. This wine is well built up front with flavors of black currant fruit,
cassis and hints of sweet spice. It shows good energy as licorice and apple wood
accents complete its complex finish. The 2021 growing season was generous is length
and consistent temperatures. Flavors were strong at harvest and we think 2020 will
prove to be a terrific vintage.

ABOUT BLOCK NINE
Our family started Block Nine in response to changes in the Pinot Noir market. Demand
for moderately priced Pinot Noir spiked leaving consumers with few choices of smaller
production Pinot Noir from California. After years of making only Pinot Noir with
consistently high ratings, we expanded our product offering to make great value
Cabernet also. This is our inaugural release. We hope you enjoy it.
