This Tempranillo-dominant blend (75% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, 6% Mazuelo, 4% Graciano) represents Muga’s benchmark expression of Rioja. Twenty-four months in neutral French and American oak barriques precedes at least 12 months in bottle—yielding a wine fresh and minerally upfront, opening to chopped cherry and plum skin with fragrant coffee, paprika, and dried herb notes. Long, elegant, and perfectly balanced with integrated acidity and soft tannins, it drinks beautifully now yet ages gracefully for years.
