Description
Winemaker Notes
Breca Garnacha is their flagship wine, sourced from myriad tiny plots of dry-farmed, head-trained Garnacha that are farmed manually without the use of chemically synthesized vineyard treatments. The wine spends 16 months in French oak puncheon and demi-muid and shows bright red fruit character with distinct minerality.
Professional Ratings
94 Jeb Dunnuck
Raised all in 500- and 600-liter barrels (all used), the 2021 Breca has a Châteauneuf du Pape-like bouquet of black raspberries, licorice, peppery herbs, and spice. This carries to a medium to full-bodied, rich, voluptuous, concentrated Garnacha with fine tannins and a great finish.
