Distilled for Dryness Brugals distillation removes many of the heavy alcohols that give other rums their sweetness, resulting in a clean, dry and smooth spirit. 40% ABVAged for Smoothness Double-wood aged for 6-8 years in White American Oak Casks, followed by 2-4 years in first-filled Spanish Sherry Oak Casks that are hand selected by the Master of wood for the worlds finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskey.More evocative of a single malt then a sweet sipping rum, people often call it The Rum for Whiskey lovers.Tasting NotesColor The light enhances its dark amber hues and bright, clean color.Nose Fascinatingly complex, with spiced nuances, hints of chocolate, of roasted coffee, cinnamon, and other dried fruits.Palate On the palate, pleasant, smooth and full-bodied.
