Description
Aromatic still white wine, 14.5% ABV, produced by Kaltern Caldaro in Trentino-Alto Adige. A Gewürztraminer that enchants with its intense and enveloping aromas. The name Gewürztraminer dates back to the nearby village of Kaltern Tramin, where this variety was first mentioned in a document in the 14th century. Late harvest of particularly ripe and perfectly healthy grapes, destemming, 12-hour cold maceration, soft pressing, natural decantation, and temperature-controlled fermentation. Aged on the fine lees in steel tanks for 3 months. On the nose, it reveals itself aromatically with aromas of rose petals, lychee, and pineapple. The color is an intense straw yellow. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, with a long, lingering aromatic finish.
