Description
Aromatic still white wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 14.5% ABV, produced by Kaltern Caldaro. 100% Gewürztraminer. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine that embodies the essence of Gewürztraminer, with its intense aroma and unique character. Cantina Kaltern’s history dates back to 1900, with a production of 4,000,000 bottles. The vineyard is located on a south-facing hillside, 450–500 meters above sea level. The soil is clayey with porphyry. Destemming of late-harvested, ripe, and healthy grapes; 12-hour cold maceration, gentle pressing, natural decantation, and slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18°C. Aged on the fine lees for 5 months, filtered, and bottled in March. Intense yellow with golden highlights. Intense nose with aromas of rose petals, lychee, cinnamon, cloves, and sage. Rich on the palate, with exotic fruit and a very long finish.
