Still red Rosso di Montalcino DOC, produced by Capanna in Tuscany, 14.5% vol, 2023 vintage. A wine born from the passion and dedication of Giuseppe Cencioni, assisted by his sons Benito and Franco, in the Montosoli area, north of Montalcino. Alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins (18-20 days) at a controlled temperature and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, both in truncated cone-shaped Slavonian oak vats. Aged in 20-32 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 60 months, followed by bottle aging for at least 3-4 months. Fresh, with notes of red fruit and vanilla. Intense ruby red. Good structure, slightly tannic, persistent.
