Description
Made only with Timorasso from the 2016 vintage, this aged Piedmontese white is from a very small vineyard planted in 1950 in the municipality of Cacasco. Considered a table wine only in name, Ça Va Sans Dire Blanco 2016 is anything but: it is fresh and lengthy with a beautiful, nutty salinity and an elegant finish, like a perfectly aged white Burgundy.
The Cascina Baricchi Timorasso Ca Va Sans Dire is a very special expression of the Timorasso grape from a vineyard planted in the 1950’s. It spends nearly a decade in used oak and the full golden color in the glass belies the fact that this wine is incredibly fresh, energetic and full of a spicy mineral kick in contrast to the developed, macerated fruit notes.
