Description
Still white wine from the Langhe, Piedmont, 12.5% ABV, produced by Cascina Orizzonte. 100% Chardonnay, 2022 vintage. A wine that expresses the essence of Chardonnay from the Langhe, with a winemaking process that enhances its freshness and elegance. Cascina Orizzonte was born from the idea of two friends, Enrico Dogliotti and Riccardo Rosso, who in 2014 attempted to vinify a small batch of grapes driven by their passion for wine and love for the region. The grapes are estate-grown and come from Enrico’s parents’ farm, which cultivates Moscato d’Asti, Barbera d’Asti, and Chardonnay vineyards, drawing on decades of experience. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel for a variable length depending on the vintage. Subsequent aging in used barriques and stainless steel for approximately 9 months. Further aging in bottle for at least 9 months.
