Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 13% ABV, produced by Castello di Farnetella, 2019 vintage, 0.75 l bottle. A blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Merlot. Maceration for 12–15 days. Aged in medium and large-capacity barrels for 8–12 months. Elegant fruitiness with hints of cherry and subtle spicy notes. Intense ruby red color. Full-bodied on the palate with a good, well-structured, well-balanced tannic structure. Awarded 92/100 by James Suckling, 89/100 by Robert Parker, 90/100 by Vinous, and 3 stars by the AIS Guide. Ideal with meat, cheese, and pork.
