Description
This dense and fresh vintage from Saint-Estephe appellation displays a very deep hue. Though still close, the nose suggests great potential, with delicate notes of red fruits (cherry) from the swirl. The vintage length, strength, and precision transcend through a very straight palate. The structure shows tension, with superb, distinguished tannins. The 2006 Chateau Montrose fierce intensity reflects the sappy character of its terroir. Persistent length and freshness on the finish suggest great keep potential -up to 2035.
