Description
Winemaker Notes
Tour Bayard is relatively modern in style, with refined tannins, punchy fruit, and seductive aromas enhanced by malolactic fermentation in barrique. The 2015 is a watershed vintage for Tour Bayard, with masses of blue fruits framed by touches of vanilla and spice. The wine was expressive upon release, and will continue to improve as it ages. The 2015 establishes Tour Bayard as the clear quality leader in Montagne.
Blend: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec

This shows how well this satellite appellation did in 2015 with lots of blackberry, spice, chocolate and wet earth character. Full and savory. Well done.
