The property
Located among the most beautiful crus of its appellation, the Château Vray Croix de Gay is in line with the very beautiful references of Pomerol, on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Former winemaker of Pétrus, Jean-Claude Berrouet joined the technical teams of the Château in 2013 as a consulting oenologist.
The vineyard
With a vineyard of 3.67 ha of exceptional terroir, Château Vray Croix de Gay is part of the crus of the highly renowned Pomerol appellation whose potential has been brilliantly revealed in recent years by developing its own style.
The strength of Château Vray Croix de Gay lies in its vineyard. Located in the heart of the gravel plateau of Pomerol, on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region, the 9 plots subdivided into micro plots are spread over 2 vineyards, one adjoining Château La Fleur behind Pétrus and the other located in front of Château Trotanoy.

Merlot and cabernet franc.

Tasting
Color
Color of a dark, deep black.
Nose
The nose, fine and spicy, exhales notes of mocha, plum, black cherry and lavender. Very fine and silky, it offers well-ripened tannins.
Palate
The palate is fruity with notes of walnut, plums, chocolate and orange peel.
