The 2021 Château de Chantegrive has a well-defined nose of blackberry and raspberry mixed with wild hedgerow and light seaweed/black tea scents. The palate is medium-bodied with granular tannins, fresh with graphite-infused black fruit and quite sustained on the finish. This is uncompromisingly classic in style, but that’s why l like it.
