Description
James Suckling Review
Rated 92
Bright nose of red fruit with a touch of pomegranate fills out the medium- to full-bodied palate of this lively Chateauneuf. The weight and ripeness typical of the appellation only show at the velvety and savory finish. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
Wine Tasting Notes
Complex, open nose with aromas of blackberry fruit, floral notes of violets, and fresh moss, accented by hints of new leather, ginger and allspice. Rich and harmonious, showing superb maturity. Ripeness and power on the palate. The clean, intense front presents beautiful red fruit and spice, with a touch of minerality. The silky tannin structure provides a long finish of exotic fruit flavors.
Grape Varietals: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah & Mourvedre.
