Description
The black fruits along with the spicy character are still behind the tannins. It needs time, so drink from 2024. Look for juicy blackberry, cassis, dark plum, and fresh raspberry leaf, crushed raspberries, savoury herb flavours on the palate with a lingering white pepper spice and flinty finish. Grapes are hand-harvested, and the wine is matured in oak barrels for one year of which 10 to 15 % are new barrels. Vineyards at the highest point in Saint-Estèphe have produced this richly structured wine, typical of the appellation. The black fruits along with the spicy character are still behind the tannins.
