David first planted these vines upon his arrival to Pritchard Hill in the 1970’s and has spent the last forty years tending to their care. Cane-pruned, dry-farmed and organically grown, these low yielding vines thrive in our iron rich, volcanic soils. Only carefully selected clusters are chosen to create this exceptionally seductive wine. Opaque, deep crimson hues hint at the voluptuously round, velvety rich and long, textured journey one is to take with this beautifully complex and regal wine.
