Luscious in black fruits and oak spices, this posh-textured wine aged in 40% new French barrels boasts power with grace. Intensely rich and delicious black currants, blueberries and dark chocolate are framed in masses of fine-grained tannins to come off as soft and plush. Best from 2025-2032.
Wine Tasting Notes
At first swirl, Dry Creek Vineyard Endeavour Cabernet offers notes of black currant, black cherry, and ripe raspberry come forward, followed by deeper aromatics of cedar, sweet tobacco, and cinnamon. Additional airing reveals nuances of black pepper, dried herbs, and leather. On the palate, elegant flavors of black currant, plum, and boysenberry mingle with complex notes of espresso, cardamom, and nutmeg. The refined tannins are well-integrated, providing a rich and luxurious mouthfeel with a long, lingering finish.
