Description
From the top of the Embankment you get to see vineyards with a distinct balance of aspect, sunlight, water and micro-climate. Generally speaking, Cabernet grown in the Alexander Valley is full of soft red fruits with silky tannins. Embankment is situated in the cooler southwest side of the valley which results in lower alcohols and more black fruit characters.
