Description
Optu White Wine is comprised of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, sourced from both Klipsun Vineyard and Artz Vineyard in the southwestern corner of Red Mountain. This vintage was fermented both in new and used French oak, as well as a portion done in a concrete egg. We’re finding honeyed tropical fruit tones that comes from the warm climate Semillon, matched by grapefruit and lemon notes from the Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is rich, without being heavy, and brightened by a crisp acidity. While sipping Optu White, all we can think about are the foods we want to enjoy at the same time. The obvious choice would be with rich seafood dishes, but we love it just as much with a Thanksgiving spread or Spring brunch.
