The 2000 Flaccianello della Pieve is a very pretty, gracious wine. The 2000 stands apart for a feminine, seductive personality that is a bit unusual for Flaccianello. Rose petals, sweet spices and licorice add brightness on the high-toned finish. This is a lovely wine from Fontodi.
