Description
Few think outside the Barossa box like Dave ‘Yetti’ Geyer.
He sees potential in those unwanted odd-ball varieties of the region and takes them into uncharted territory. For this wine, it’s Chenin Blanc with a wild streak.
This fruit comes from an organic famred Vine Vale vineyard, with old Chenin Blanc vines yielding tiny amounts of uber-concentrated fruit. Dave nurses them into the winery, lets them hang out on skins for a day, then presses it off with no sulphur added whatsoever.
Full of juicy, yellow fruits, yet saline and savoury through the finish. Interest plus plus, and perfect for sipping in the sun.
