Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Giacomo Borgogno e Figli in 2017. 100% Nebbiolo. A Barolo that embodies the history of the Langhe, born in 1761. The nose reveals notes of small red fruits, currants, and raspberries, alongside distinct sensations of wild rose and flowering bramble. Mediterranean scrub, oriental spices, and delicate grains of Himalayan salt offer an original and unmistakable picture. Ruby with a garnet edge. The palate is pulpy and lively, with pronounced savory flavors and elegant tannins that linger throughout the sip. Cohesive and persistent, it leaves a balsamic aftertaste. A Barolo born from certified organic production, aged for four years in Slavonian oak barrels and six months in bottle.
