Description
Still red Barbera d’Alba, 13% ABV, produced by Giovanni Rosso, a historic Piedmontese winery founded in 1960. Vintage 2023. A wine that embodies the tradition of Piedmont, with a 100% Barbera blend. Fermentation lasts approximately 10-15 days with daily pumping over and mid-term delestage (vinification in stainless steel tanks). Aged in 50-hl French oak barrels for several months. Plum, raspberry, blueberry, and wisteria notes blend in an enveloping bouquet. Beautiful harmony, vibrant acidity, and freshness make this a pleasant and versatile wine.
