Description
Etna Bianco San Lorenzo 2024 by Girolamo Russo, a still white wine from Sicily. 0.75L bottle, 13% ABV. Made with 90% Carricante, Catarratto Bianco Comune, and Grecanico Dorato. The vineyards are located at 750 meters above sea level on the northern slopes of Etna. Vinification includes a 4-hour maceration on the skins, followed by 6 months of aging in second- and third-use barriques and tonneaux, followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle. A fine and elegant bouquet with citrus and floral notes, with subtle spicy hints. Straw yellow with light golden reflections. Fresh, savory, and mineral, with a persistence that enhances its intense minerality.
