Winemaker Notes
The 2019 vintage hits all the right notes thanks to a stunning ripening year. Not as hot as 2018 or 2020, the wine is more elegant as a result. The warmer years bring more black fruit, but in 2019 the wine is back to the blueberry, red cherry and hints of dark plum. The palate is inviting and well-balanced, exuding flavors of blueberries, blackberry, with a deep mocha finish. This wine in such a great vintage, will age beautifully for many years.

93James Suckling
Attractive and flavorful red with blackcurrants and crushed blackberries as well as cocoa, cedar and ground cloves. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Polished and refined with seamless texture and a lingering finish. Better after 2025.

Aromatic baking spices fill the aroma of this ripe but wellbalanced wine, leading to generous black cherries, blueberries and cocoa flavors wrapped in finegrained tannins. Notes of cedar, cinnamon and mint enhance its delicious complexity
