Bodegas Ponce introduces their unique orange wine, Gulp Hablo Verdejo – Sauvignon Blanc. It is a blend of equal parts Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc, a common combination in the region. The wine is made through a week of skin maceration, resulting in aromatics of orange blossom and tropical jackfruit, with hints of moderately tannic dried citrus peels, tea, and preserved apricots. This certified biodynamic wine is made using only native yeast fermentation in steel tanks, and is bottled with minimal sulfites, without any fining or filtering. With a low ABV of 11%, this is a perfect wine for a breezy afternoon chill. This wine is part of the importer’s Gulp/Halbo line, featuring organic and biodynamically farmed grapes from Spain’s central La Mancha region.
