Description
Extra brut classic method champagne, produced by Henriet-Bazin in the Champagne region. A Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru, 100% Pinot Noir. 0.75L bottle. The estate’s history begins in 1890, with Gaston Henriet. The bouquet is uninterrupted, powerful and refined, with a hint of local terroir, the two best terroirs of the Montagne du Reims: Verzenay and Verzy. The bouquet has diverse characteristics: toast, butter, honey, hawthorn, toasted almond. Fruity: blackcurrant, licorice, figs, mango. Vegetal: black pepper, nutmeg, with a hint of peony. The palate is dense and generous. It is fresh and fruity, with a creamy effervescence. The fruity density is reminiscent of plum. A chalky mineral flavor is refreshed by a hint of acidity, yet still smooth.
