The H&H Terrantez 20-Year is that rarest of gifts: a relatively accessible entrée into the singular autumnal, honey seedcake, chestnut and tobacco-leaf character that is Terrantez’ manifest destiny. Meio seco—medium-dry—this was produced from a blend of five casks laid down in canteiro in the 1980s. This occupies the deeper registers, ones that engender euphoria and sadness in equal measure.
