Description
Still red wine from Tuscany, produced by Tenuta Il Palagio. Blend: 95% Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Colorino. 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Chianti that carries with it the history of Sting and Trudie, who transformed this estate into a vibrant organic winery and farm. Fermentation in stainless steel. Maceration: 2 days at 10°C – 4-6 days at 28-30°C. During maceration: 4 open pumpovers per day and twice-daily cork pressing. Aging: 6 months in stainless steel and 3 months in bottle. Cherry aromas on the nose herald an intense and enveloping palate.
