A Bourgogne Pinot Noir that embodies the tradition and elegance of Burgundy, crafted by Joseph Drouhin, a historic producer since 1880. The first Pinot Noir plantings in Burgundy likely date back to 150 BC. The Laforêt red is made 100% from this celebrated grape; it is the archetype of red Burgundy for Joseph Drouhin. The nose is rich with red fruit aromas (raspberry, currant, wild strawberry). On the palate, the wine is pleasant, fruity, and refreshing, with light tannins and great elegance.
