Description
Bodegas La Purisima is a cooperative with the reputation of a top quality international wine producer, with wines sold in over 30 countries. They are a young, modern wine producer, led by a dynamic woman, María Teresa Ruiz González. Bodegas La Purísima currently has 3325 Ha of vines, representing around 60% of the Yecla Denomination of Origin area of Spain. They have almost 100 Ha of ungrafted Monastrell vines, authentic vines which have grown on these native lands for generations, bearing witness to the vines of their predecessors and providing them with authentic wines with the essence of these historic lands.
Winemaker Notes
Black cherry colour, good intensity. Predominance of bread of figs, plums with touches of mountain slope herbs and a final of spicy aromas. Fleshy palate, well-integrated mature tannins .

Some white pepper to the mixture of red and black berries. Flavorful and juicy with fresh, creamy tannins. Shows excellent balance even though it is not quite long. From organically grown grapes.
